Im the family "MUG" !!!

Every frigging year I end up being the present buying MUG!

My asked me to look at a decent digital picture frame for my Dad. Fine I dont mind. Found one and she says can you order it for me as I dont want dad to find it. ( where does she think everyone else hides things?)

I then mention that she wont be us till xmas day... Thats ok she say, you can wrap it for me!!

To top it off not even a thanks for finding it!!!

My sister is the same, If we ever buy a joint present its always me that has to get it, wrap it ect.

Anyones else find themselves being an easy target!? I really need to grow a back bone and tell them to sod off!

My sister's done it this year given me vouchers to buy clothes for my brothers 2 girls who are nearly 10 and 12 but he would never let them choose what they want eldest is easy she's a skinny minny but youngest is quite plump and i'm really struggling. But my sister lives 200 miles away and doesn't see them much.

Yes, MIL sends all presents here for the children and DH that she has bought online, for their birthdays and Christmas if we are not seeing them. She never mentions it, they just turn up and I assume I am expected to shell out for the wrapping paper and wrap them.....

I tend to do the buying and wrapping with any joint presents, but my sister tends to put more money towards it than me, so it seems fair enough.
