My nearly 3 year old likes Thomas. The Entertainer have the jet propelled Thomas half price at £9.99.

He also likes helicopters and Fisher Price Imaginext have one that looks pretty robust but detailed, they also have a spaceshuttle and submarine too.

My DS loves bin lorries, and this seems to be common amongst his little friends. Anything vehicle related is popular, particularly fire engines.

almost anything by WOW toys
They are indestructible, don't need batteries, we have been given several and they were a huge hit. When they are too old for them we will keep them for visitors with smaller kids.

thank you, that has given me some ideas!
