I'm a bit boring really - my parents are getting us a new radio alarm clock (old one has a strange brown mark on it which makes me think it's going to ignite soon ), PILs are getting me perfume, I've pointed DH in the direction of a complete set of Harry Potter books and the Bravissimo shop! The last one might be a mistake - god knows what he might come back with! Though, knowing him, a gift voucher's most likely (path-of-least-resistance sort of a bloke). Never mind, I need new undies - stopped bfeeding DD3 (my last baby ) a few months ago, and nothing really fits.

I'm not really much help, am I?

Poledra · 18/11/2009 09:28

DH has asked for a new back (his has been playing up something terrible lately) and his boss's head on a plate - not sure that I'm going to manage either of those.....

oopsandbabycoconut · 18/11/2009 09:32

A full night sleep lasting until later than 6am!

other than that

I HAVE NO IDEA!!

50ftQueenie · 18/11/2009 09:34

DD to start sleeping through the night, my old body back and an idea of what career I want to change to. Oh sorry you mean actual things...

In that case, I would like some baking stuff you know, decent bowls, cake tins etc. Some L'Occitane stuff and a photo session for the dc with a really good local photographer who specialises in photos of babies and children. We have been brassic this year so I haven't been able to buy myself anything which means I actually have ideas. Usually I have no idea and end up with vouchers, which always get spent on the dc.

have a look around the house and see if there's anything you need.

iv put on my list this year:
a new plate set (got quite a few chips in ours)
socks, never have enough of those
make up
a box thing from argos to keep toilet cleaning stuff in

quite boring really but its things i need

looking through the argos catologue often helps me decide.

Bonsoir · 18/11/2009 09:36

A set of Caravane linen bed sheets/pillow cases/duvet cover for our bed.

A full Astier de Villatte dinner service.

A new Killy ski suit.

A lot of clothes from Marni.

Greedy, moi?

nicnacinoonoo · 18/11/2009 09:38

oo a photo session is a good idea. ill have to remember that for next year.

any dvd's or books you might want are usually quite easy for people to get.
i buy my own books however as i think the older members of my family might be a bit with what i read

zebramummy · 18/11/2009 09:46

some new melissa shoes, my best friend to move back to the UK (?)

Squishabelle · 18/11/2009 09:54

I am hoping that someone has heard me expressing a desire for Wolfmother tickets. Oh and I would really like electric salt and pepper grinders.

KnitterInTheNW · 18/11/2009 10:01

I've asked for this bag but in a gorgeous Olive colour after I fell in love with it a few months ago in the window of monsoon, and this necklace, and this knitting bag.

Also have new glasses from my mum and dad (which I picked up yesterday)

Marioandluigi · 18/11/2009 10:16

A new Nica handbag
Jamie Oliver Cook Book
Lush handcream
New Scarf
A new Doorstop.

I am easy to buy for, mainly because I dont buy anything for myself in the year so save up ideas

Takver · 18/11/2009 12:13

I have asked for:

(a) A box of jelly babies
(b) A cigarette lighter that doesn't go out in the wind
(c) A canvas apron from the RHS with pockets on the side

we will see . . . I reckon dd will get me the jelly babies, at any rate.

sweetheart · 19/11/2009 14:58

on my list I have (but don't expect to get all of this of course):-

leather gloves in purple
perfume (gucci, ghost, flowers)
some nice bra and knickers sets (I like M&S)
the new Wii fit
ant & dec book
ruby & millie make up brushes
a scarf, hood thing I saw in River Island

I'm sure there were more things....

Anyway I am also getting a theatre ticket from my sister. I have 2 sisters so most years we buy 3 tickets to a show or gig and each buy one so that we can all have a girlie day out together.

Divatheshopaholic · 19/11/2009 15:17

I would love 24hours off being mum
