Easily transportable "Family" game

Going away with ILs and they like a "family game" e.g. Pictionary and Cranium
Any ideas?

when we were children we had a game called NILE that we still play now

bananagrams I cannot describe how much fun this is

If you have kids, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Top Trumps (actually maybe your IL's are a bit beyond that )

absolute balderdash can be hilarious but it's not really for younger children

travel pictionary

Qwirkle is fun, and can be played by anyone 7 and up properly, and younger ones can just have fun matching the tiles. Takes 30 - 60 mins to play I would say, and the concept it straightforward and a good balance of chance and some tactics.
