If you don't want holes everywhere I'd wait until he was at least...oooh....70

Especially not advisable if he has teenage mates round as they tend to chuck the darts at everything BUT the dartboard (DH has younger brother)

Oh my youngest aged 7 wants a dart board for Chrsitmas , I shudder at the thought !

There seems to be no in between ,well I haven't seen one yet - its either the full hog with sharp pionty darts , or some flimsly velroc board with darts that wouldn't last five mins.

we had a proper dart board when i was about 8 , which means the youngest in the house was 6.

but we were girls, so therefore infinitely safer.

Letterbox do a toy dartboard with magnetic darts ... might be a good compromise!

What about this.

I remembered seeing a dartboard at a friend's house, that had a bristley surface a bit like a brush and blunt ddarts stuck in the surface. I misspelled bristle and google came up with this!

that looks good prettycandles, thanx could be a contender!

magnetic darts do not work they are pants

ds had one about 8 i suppose, unfortunately i put it behind the kitchen door so the flooring now has lots of tiny holes in it
