Cow outfit for Nativity!

Help! DS is to be a talking cow in the school nativity and I have no idea how to make his outfit!! I imagine it'll be easy enough to get hold of a cow mask, but any ideas about some thing simple he can wear?

Alternatively, if anyone wants to sell a cow outfit for a large 6 year old,please let me know.

By the way, there are some bargainous sheep, shepherd, reindeer and fairy outfits in Home Bargains (if they exist outside of Yorkshire, not sure if they are nationwide)

Brown top and trousers, attach a tail on seat of trousers,ears on a head band. Job done !

DD was a cow last year. She wore a simple tunic in cow print fake fur (two rectangles sewn together down the sides and on the shoulders - you could use safety pins?), and a cardboard headband with ears and nose attached.

Marks and Spencer are selling them this year...really cute but no idea how much they are.

Thank you for all your suggestions. After a quick word with DS's teacher it appears that there are a few spare cow outfits from another production so we are saved!!

This is the only time i am relieved that we are always a shepherd. Teatowel on head and some old cack from the school play box. Job done

i have to make sheep costume, any ideas?
