My DD is nearly 11. On my list for her is...

JLS cd
New Look silver jewellery
New Look bubble bath set
Pink Hairdryer
Jewellery stand (M&S, BHS, New Look)
Big pink bag (going to fill with bubble bath nail varnish, hair clips, underwear, socks etc)

A good idea might be to make up a hamper or a big gift box and fill it with things like bubble bath, nail varnish, cotton wool, face wipes, foot scrub etc, a nice pamper box to make her feel grown up.

My 11yr old neice has asked me for some boots for Christmas.

She also loves accessories, so scarves/hairbands/beads etc.

Another idea I toyed with is a card-making set, which she would really like.

What are your neices interests? My dn loves music, so cd's/an mp3 player etc would be a hit

I have bought a bath bomb making kit for my 11 yr old neice - can anyone comment whether this is too babyish?

Plonker · 15/11/2009 22:25

My neice would enjoy that Mud

MUD-that sounds like a good gift idea to me.

OP-other suggestions some hair curlers or hairdryer like kbear has suggested.
a voucher for HMV or similar.

Perfume,CDs, make-up.

Mud - my DD who is 7 has the bath bomb kit and I would say it is not too babyish - even I have fun making different coloured ones!

bath bomb kit sounds good. she seems to have everything so may do a hamper type thing.are jane norman bags popular in all parts of england or just where i live? was thinking maybe could buy one and fill it with girly pamper stuff.

Depends where you live! They are popular in the North West!
