has anyone put lights in a cheap dolls house?

have just bought 29.99 dolls house in argos for dd,intend to paint it cream/white inside and out and would really love to put lights in it.how easy is this?

not sure how easy it is but I wouldn't feel comfortable having an electricity supply in a plaything for dcs - assuming you mean wiring it up in some way?
If you just mean a washed out bottle lid painted to look like a lampshade - go for it!

Use the little battery operated ones. Hide the battery pack in a wardrobe or the roof.

ELC do a light set for a dolls house - I think it's about £10

I have battery LED push lights for wardrobes in DDs. My dada made us one with tiny bulbs when we were little, with cake case for lampshades. He is an electrical engineer though!
