Can anyone recommend a decent coffee maker that wont break the bank??

That is basically it, thinking of buying BIL a coffee maker. He is a huge lover of coffee.

I have no ideas about coffee machines.....what kind of coffee do you have to use with them...?

Any recommendations welcome

I'll be watching this as well. Friends have a Jura which is a sleek, sexy and minimalist piece of kit. But it is £££££.

you can't beat a Bialetti for coffee but I expect that's not what you're after.

Oh my, those Jura machines look amazing. I want one! Very pricey though.

ggirl - no unfortunately that is not what I am after.

It would be quite easy if it were.

I'm going to trawl through the argos catalogue and some websites for some inspiration.
