no, it's not righ, get a grip

hormonesnomore · 08/11/2009 21:26

I have one of those! I bought it from a craft stall at the Gardeners World roadshow at the NEC a few years ago & it's in my garden at the bottom of the fence (for the little fairy who sits beside her little toadstool - hahaha). So not just one MNetter who likes them - I'm now off to look at the rest of the website - thanks bramblebooks!

hormonesnomore · 08/11/2009 21:27

Oh, mine didn't come with a tiny key - I feel cheated now...

southeastastra · 08/11/2009 21:30

having one of them in your garden will make you look soft in the head! come on

hormonesnomore · 08/11/2009 21:32

I also have a squirrel, a hedgehog, a sleeping cat, 2 lizards and 2 frogs.

paisleyleaf · 08/11/2009 21:37

I've got one of them. You can get windows too.
I've also got a couple of fairies that sit around not that far away, and those chimey toadstools, and glitter/shiney confetti spinkled around sometimes in the summer.
I know, I know, it sounds naff. But DD loves it (as do her friends), and it's down in a quite woodlandy/overgrown part of the garden.

paisleyleaf · 08/11/2009 21:38

I quite like the faces you can get for tree trunks too.

halfcut · 08/11/2009 21:43

Bet seas got loads of fairy doors in her garden really

nappyzonecantrunfortoffee · 08/11/2009 21:47

they dont exist.

Kadiya · 08/11/2009 22:17

it doesn't matter if you think they exist or not...where is your sense of adventure?of wonderment?
I know for a fact that my girls will LOVE them!
They are going to be perfect for "tooth" fairies...but preferably "dummy" fairies
I really like them, it's quite an original idea, I've never seen them before.
Thanks OP

i got one from an ebay shop last year. very sweet.

they sell 'spells'too...very intrigued, but so obviously a rip off! unless anyone can prove me wrong?

iheartdusty · 08/11/2009 22:42

lol at possibility 'spells' are real

nannynick · 08/11/2009 22:45

My mum has a fairy door, located in the conservatory. That's good enough reason for me not to get one!

GypsyMoth · 08/11/2009 22:47

not real, but the claims about them are funny

frazzled74 · 08/11/2009 23:35

love fairy doors but will only have one whilst dd is young, dont want to end up like mad old lady with gnomes and cats.
