I have tried my local freecycle with no luck; can anyone tell me what kind of jars they use for making their home made beverages in? Or where I can buy some cheaply?
I've currently got mine in a glass jar but its not sealed properly so everytime I turn it it leaks - there'll be non left at this rate

I'm going to do Quince Brandy but TBH I was going to use a couple of regular kilner jars with the orange rubber seals. Hope I don't get leaks, although I don't think I'm required to turn the jars in the recipe. Sorry not much help really

Thanks. The glass jars I have have the rubber seals, which don't work

I bought glass bottles from my local kitchen store - think beer bottle with proper stopper but in clear glass . They cost £2.50 and are a perfect size for gifts.
