John Lewis? They have quite a good selection of crafty stuff. Or Dunelm Mill? They had a big bag in there the other day but was probably for wool/knitting.

Have you got a Hobbycraft near you? They do some nice big ones in there, styles for youngsters and more mature styles.

I know John Lewis has a range. You could also look on Amazon and maybe even Argos.

If it is sewing box you want, local dept store. The more old-fashioned the better. They will have a few with tapestry on the lids and lots of wooden cubbyholes.

If she wants a pretty box try John Lewis but buy the biggest one they have - I have a small sewing basket and can't even fit my big scissors or a box of pins in the top tray. (But then my sewing stuff fills many other drawers, chests and shelves too)

If she wants functional, look at Artbin or Really Useful boxes with extra trays. Hobbycraft have both of these.
