I'd love to see my mom, however she lives overseas and my new DS will not be old enough to travel. I think having a baby makes me want to remind myself that I'm somebody's baby too .

Yes, I agree with your DH and DCs - you are very difficult. Some random woman off the internet offers to send you a goody bag of French cosmetics for free and you say NO!

Riven, have you tried a list? I just stick up a list of Things I'd Like for Christmas on the fridge in about, oooh, June (I do include ds and dh on it too) and we add things as we go. That way the list is quite long so whatever the present is, is still a surprise.
