FlamedNora · 27/12/2008 22:27

UnfortunatelyMe · 27/12/2008 22:27

MatNanPlusTINSEL · 27/12/2008 22:28

yeah, well done.

Bought some this yr in pre christmas sales for next yr

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 27/12/2008 22:30

OMG there's more of your sort!!!

expatinscotland · 27/12/2008 22:32

it's much cheaper if you start now!

whomovedmychocolate · 27/12/2008 22:34

Sainsburys for the crackers.

Lakeland have some darling little mice key rings with glowing LED eyes.

Bought my mum a GPS system for her birthday in the sale as well and several birthday pressies for others (am useless at remembering dates so whenever my mum mentions it's someones birthday I see what's in the 'things I have bought just in case cupboard')

Lakeland have big present bags 50% off at the mo as well, much better than trying to wrap big awkward shaped toys.

I have lots of MN cards left over which I will be using retro stylee next year

And you know what MaryMotherofCheeses - next December while you are queuing for a car park, us lot will be cackling on the Christmas 09 board muwhahahahha

UnfortunatelyMe · 27/12/2008 22:34

much much cheaper. 40p for pack of cards. 25p rolls of paper!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 27/12/2008 22:34

I'm still mid this one! Thought of starting on next year is scary. Have you lot not got summer holidays to look foward to? I'm off to frequent the Shorthaul and Camping boards a bit more often

UnfortunatelyMe · 27/12/2008 22:35

thanks, will see tommorow what they have left!

MatNanPlusTINSEL · 27/12/2008 22:35

huge savings to be had and soo much less stress.

Last yr i wrapped and tagged them as i bought them too

whomovedmychocolate · 27/12/2008 22:36

Holidays??? What are they? I have two small monsters to care for who tend to bite when allowed out of their cages

whomovedmychocolate · 27/12/2008 22:37

MatNanPlusTINSEL - I did that too this year, sadly I used a gel ink pen and I didn't realise the gel disappears as they dry on shiny paper (so I ended up with a pile of anonymous gifts which had to be opened and rewrapped)

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 27/12/2008 22:38

Christmas earrings?

Nope, I'm a tinsel nazi! Death to the spangled ones!

singyswife · 27/12/2008 22:40

If I bought stuff now I seriously would have lost it by next year. My house is in a constant mess and is totally disorganised.

MatNanPlusTINSEL · 27/12/2008 22:40

Whoops WMMC

Might i suggest either sticky labels or a HUGE black marker pen!!

Heck i knew i had forgotten something when i got dressed MMOC

MatNanPlusTINSEL · 27/12/2008 22:41

Large storage box very clearly marked Christmas Gifts SingysWife

singyswife · 27/12/2008 22:59

That could work. I would lose the box though. Seriously this is the house of lost items, sometimes never ever seen again. I need help to get my house sorted out.

HappyMummyOfOne · 28/12/2008 13:07

I have a large storage box in the loft for gifts that I stock up on during the year. Have found a couple of hard back books on book people that MIL will love for £7 instead of around £28 so got those. Just spotted a nice silver necklace for £5 instead of £20 so will get a couple of those and just off to browse the rest online. Boots sale is good but a lot out of stock already.
