Touch screen no longer working, all gone a bit, um, weird looking too.

Please tell me it is just the batteries running low and not something tiny and broken inside?

Usually quite reliable I think. Is it damp or really cold?

IllegallyBrunette · 26/12/2008 23:16

The batteries do go really really quickly on those, but normally you if it is the batteries it will tell you. I think it flashes up on the screen.

DS got Vtech learning system (from us). We're taking it back cos we think it's rubbish.

Apparently it needed the screen settings recalibrated. WTF that means I have no idea but seems to work temporarily. Will be ringing Amazon/VTEch tomorrow though. Thanks anyhow...

I bought a leapster for my 5 year old DD this christmas, after 3 days the touch screen will not allow her to sign in I am taking it back to Argos today.

WilfSell · 29/12/2008 15:34

Ah yes not VTech...

We have had to recalibrate screen coupla times now so will ring them. DH knows how to do it - apparently it is in the instructions somewhere...

we have had to recalibrate our screen about 5 times since christmas, I think it's after some over excited 'tapping'. I'm not impressed.
