Bead handle on dd1's box thingy fell off

Dd2's microphone has a loose connection

and dd1 half pulled her DS case apart because she thought the clear plastic bit in it was supposed to go in the bin...

Someone bought DD Barbie walkie talkies and they are utter rubbish. Can't hear anything through them. Total crud.

Pink power scooter by Ozbozz. The clamp thaqt holds the the handlebars in place broke and fell off in our first test run of the scooter this afternoon. Am thinking I should have bought the more expensive micro light variety.

LittleP I bought Barbie walkie talkie for DD but read review before opening it - ended up buying her a proper one (boring looking) but it certainly works. Still think she would have really liked Barbie but it would have been merely an accessory.

Nothing falling apart, but pissed off slightly bemused that DD's favourite present is a vtech camera from her aunt; who WON it and did not part with £60 for it. When the horse riding gear DD asked for lays forlornly in its wrapping.

DS got a toy truck that is a rubbish truck - the figures that come with it have broken....the arms/legs have snapped off and I'm not sure he's actually 'played' with it yet!!

Remote control car - emailed the company at 10.18 yesterday, I was so cross as it was demonstrated to us as being "unbreakable", which obviously nothing is BUT it should last longer than 18 minutes!!!

worleywinterwonderland · 26/12/2008 09:49

peppa pig helicopter, the glass windoscreen wont stay in place it keeps coming out and ds2 is getting frustrated that they dont sit still even with their seatbelts on, they fall out. no biggie though i realise!

we brought ds1 thomas tank engine walkie talkies a few years ago and they were crap, couldnt hear a thing through them at all!!!

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 26/12/2008 09:59

DD2 got a fifi bubble mow which stopped working about 3 minutes later

timmette · 26/12/2008 10:01

IllegallyBrunette · 26/12/2008 10:04

Star Wars AtTe walker - Looks great, sounds great, but the legs fall off it as soon as anyone so much as thinks about touching it.

Prince Caspian castle and catapult - then again I did buy it from Home Bargains so it was never going to be top notch quality!
