It's a good idea, but the motor is so weak it hardly blows any 'butterflies' out, and needless to say is nothing like the advert! Luckily 3 year old ds is too excited about his Dora laptop to notice.

Happy Christmas, everybody!

well ours blows the things out the top, but after a gripping 6 or 7 seconds they've all gone, no-ones caught any, you have to switch off and gather all the little bits together and reload.
as my 5yo would say... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrubbish!

ebay it

ds had it when he was two or three and really enjoyed it. Think it's better with a handful of kids rather than one on his own IYSWIM.

My GD had one for her birthday about 2 years ago and they really enjoyed it. I have seen the ones on sale now and they don't seem as good as what she had in fact I know they are not as a friend bought one for her GD. It was as described by Feenie very weak and seemd to only last seconds. My friend returned it to where she bought it and got something else.

you need to get those extra strong batteries from energiser, then it'll blow them out alright but they all come out in about 10 seconds and it takes ages to get them all back in again... mine got it last year and although dd is obsessed by the concept it never gets played with for more than a couple of minutes.

DD has one, she loves it but it is a faff. All the butterflies come out but it's all over in a jiffy. It rarely comes out tbh - definitely better for kids only so she gets it out when she has friends over.
