at the end of the bed - but I wish I'd instituted an outside the door rule 10 years ago with dd1...would have been much easier.

Oh good grief - just realised I've been doing mummy stuff at Christmas for a decade - feel quite emotional now!

We have a sideboard kind of piece of furniture and it has 3 knobs on it so have hung 3 stockings up there tonight, got quite emotional as this time last year we thought I was mcing DD3 and know she is here and there's 3 stockings up.

End of bed. all done now.. hope they don't wake up. Also left teeth marks in the bit of carrot left. Thought of fairy dust but decided I could't face hoovering first thing on christmas morning!!

notbusta we lay out outdoor fairy lights, this year we have a net of lights set out like a helipad , that reminds me I must go out and switch them off before I go to bed. DC decided santa would have to land in out garden as the other ones in our street are small or have things like trampolines in them.

I like end of bed , not under tree because there is two suprises, they come into my bed to open their stocking then going downstairs is a big ceremony, we all get dressed and go down together.

I like to get dressed, just think when you are looking back at the photos of DC opening their presents and there you are in the back ground with your nightie on showing your chuff and your hair all on end .

I've decided on the bedroom. Hopefully she'll get a nice surprise when she wakes - either that or it will be too early, therefore dark, for her to even notice and she'll come padding through to my room as usual....
