.... are the reasons DH has just given for not putting up the outdoor lights I bought cheap in B&Q yesterday. He is fine with putting them up inside but they turn out to be too big to go anywhere inside.

I have always wanted to have outdoor lights, as I think they're lovely. And I know I never will. Sigh.

Anyway, complaints over, Merry Christmas

Think of the leccy you are saving by not tarting up the outside of your house.

Next year, just put them up when he's out - if he can be arsed to take them down, fine. But he'll probably just pretend it was his idea if he doesn't have to do anything!
