I think its reindeer food or dust, should be sparkly so that reindeer and santa can see where to come. I'm planning to mix porridge oats and glitter but think flour and glitter can be used instead!

if it is reindeer food its porridge oats and glitter mixed.

if its santa footprints you get a large shoe/boot (we use dh's army boots) and dip them in icing sugar then make footprints on the floor, then sprinkle a bit of glitter over the top.

my friend does it in reverse, she sprinkles icing sugar down first then uses the clean boot to make a print.

I have reindeer food for my dc's and it's porridge oats mixed with purple glitter.
