don't claires accessories have all that kind of stuff...

compo · 23/12/2008 19:49

Tesco or Asda?

NotBigJustBolshy · 23/12/2008 19:49

Peacocks have some black sparkly skinny jeans, if that's any help (my dd (10) will be wearing hers on Christmas day).

morningpaper · 23/12/2008 19:52

BHS?

morningpaper · 23/12/2008 19:53

OR buy plain ones

get some glitter spray from Claires Accessories

job done

misdee · 23/12/2008 19:53

dd1 is a bit chunky round the waist and jeans dont tend to fit her well unless more relaxed fit.

claires accessories dont do leggings.

havent seen any in tesco, but will try late tonight if dd4 isnt sleeping.

if all else fails, then it will be black leggings. but she wants a bit of sparkle.

but are you really going to meander round all these shops on xmas eve looking for sparkly leggings!!!

Jbck · 23/12/2008 19:55

Miss Internationale?

misdee · 23/12/2008 19:55

i know i know.

i did try today, but our choice of shops in town, is next, m and s and john lewis. none has any.

hmmmm glitter spray, i might have some of that left from my clubbing days.

Then show her some pictures of girls wearing sparkly leggings and impress upon her that if you actually let her wear these hideous things then she will be mocked for many many christmases to come. And that man made fabric is no friend to the fango - a lesson she should really absorb now

Then you can spend christmas eve drinking snowballs. Which is how it should be spent

misdee · 23/12/2008 19:57

i even checked new look, top shop, monsoon and miss selfridges just in case they had some teeney sized ones.

do you have a matalan nearby??

I got a two-pack of leggings for DD3 (10) from there, one was spangly, t'other is grey/silver striped.

cost about £7 (altho I could be wrong on the price)......bought the boys outfits too and could be mixing them up......certainly no more than £10 tho!

misdee · 23/12/2008 19:57

oh i cant drink snowballs. not since i spent one xmas puking after drinking too many plus dd4 will get tipsy lol.

Do you have an Adams in your area. Recently got my DD some black leggings with gold metallic pinstripes from there.

boocha · 23/12/2008 22:25

I also recently got my 9year old dd black sparkly legging from adams.

misdee · 23/12/2008 23:32

no adams in town. there might be one in stevenage, but that means going to the shopping centre bit.
