What about a 24 hour one...do I risk a 6am...will it be packed?

jollyoldstnickschick · 23/12/2008 19:02

tesco will get a delivery some time during the night so you may be better going early morning........no bloody frozen turkeys at ours today tho.

jollyoldstnickschick · 23/12/2008 19:03

mummynumnum · 23/12/2008 19:04

Thankfully someone cooking for us, so just needs basics and alcohol-so main priority beating the crowds. Drove in today and straight back out again as car park was mayhem!

I also did mine at 4am last year- was laying in bed thinking of all the things that I needed to do xmas eve and thought might aswell get it over and down with, rather than getting up at 6am and running round in the hope I could get back before dp went to work

mummynumnum · 23/12/2008 19:06

I reckon tomorrow morning will be better than tonight. I did mine this morning, plenty of checkouts open, but just too many mad people with trolleys blocking the aisles!
Good luck, you may need it!
