vintage silver cross coach pram that I had as a child, when I stopped playing with it it went to my Nan and Grandads house as loads more space to store it. My grandad spent hours repolishing it all and cleaned all the wheels until they were white again, had the bag fixed etc and sadly he died before I had my dd's.

Anyway Mum and Dad have more room now so have collected it and keeping it there for the dd's to play with (my Mum looks after them 1 day a week when I work) plus we see them lots regardless, they have even wrapped it for the dd's (dd1 is 4.3 and dd2 will be 2 on 5th jan) to open on Christmas day, my mum and dad bought it for me for Christmas when I was 4.8 so dd1 will love it (so will dd2 although she wont be able to reach the handle yet)

I have googled for a picture and this is the one

Ooh that's just gorgeous. Aren't you all lucky to have had it stored and restored

I know, mum and dad have always lived in a bungalow and no loft space so always had to be ruthless clearing our toys, the oram and fisher price drs kit and record player are the only things left and its lovely to think my Grandad put all that effort into making it look so lovely I hope he can see them on Christmas day
