lamb leg how long to cook ?

i have brought half a lamb leg 2.41 in weight for xmas lunch how long do i give it and at what temp.

No foil. Preheat to 240 C (very hot). Meanwhile, sear lamb leg on all sides on a hot pan.

Put a bit of water in oven plate, the put lamb in it & put in oven. Turn to other side when cooked (about an hour) and cook for another 45mins to an hour. Add hot water when necessary.

my oven doesn't go that hot!

I cook legs of lamb uncovered on a rack over a pan of water at fan oven 180 degrees c for 25 min per lb +25 mins extra - low and slow = nice moist meat
