white wine or fizz?

We've been asked to 'a little gathering' tonight by our quite posh neighbours.
I've got a bottle of M&S champagne or a bottle of good Macon Village. I know she drinks white wine. Which should I take?

I'd take both and, most likely, drink both. But that's me.

I'd take the wine personally but I don't think it really matters. It's just a courtesy to bring a bottle of something.

How much do you care what she thinks?

A lot = the Macon
Not much = the M&S fizz

Ta. I think I'll take both. Like you say I'll probably drink both anyway...and then smoke all of someone's fags.
Actually, on reflection which wine to take is the least of my worries.
