I know from memoery you simmer it in coke for a few housr. Then i think you smear it in blak treacle and bake it

Yes it was fab. Was meant to be making it for a big family get together today but ds came down with the sickness bug that is going around

It's lovely, although I have altered the glaze. I do, syrup, wholegrain mustard, brown sugar and no cloves.

Oh sorry to hear about the sickness bug, i think i have had a close escape with that, felt terribly sick this morning, but then i have sore nipples too .

Hoping work don't hate me when i ring up for leave in morning as was covered by xmas leave requests. Can't inflict him on mil who normally has him (figure its better to keep it contained this close to christmas - i haven't got my own turkey!).
