Turkey ready to pick up today?!?!?!

The turkey lady just called to say that our turkey is ready to pick up from today. It seems really early - what do you think?

we picked up ours yesterday, but put it in the freezer to be sure.

Mine is being posted Monday to arrive Tuesday, I'll cook it on Wednesday. no problem IMO

i will be getting my meat tomorrow, and cooking it on xmas eve.

It'll be fine.

dh bought one yesterday and its use by date is boxing day so it will be fine in the fridge till xmas day.

Have you got room in your fridge?

If not, maybe collect it nearer the time and let them store it.

Yep - ours is vacuum packed - should be fine just kept in a fridge.
