soggy christmas cake!

Oh dear, just got cake out to marzipan and it looks almost undercooked. Certainly a bit squidgy.... But I know I cooked it for more than recipe said. It'll still be edible won't it?

I mean,, undercooked cake isn't going to hurt anyone is it? Or maybe I just put too much booze in!

you've probably added a bit too much booze.. try leaving it to air or breathe for a couple of days to let some of the moisture evaporate before marzipan.. it would still leave until christmas eve to ice.. you'll still have time!
