I have a medium sized turkey crown to feed 4 adults, but I'm not sure what to do with it. DH doesn't want it to be taste sweet so no sweet glazing.

Anyone got a fairly easy tried and tested recipie?

TIA

don't have one but you can make "leek and turkey pie' with the leftovers. (that's the best part of the turkey, imho.)

Ohh that sounds quite nice (I lways prefer leftovers )
Do you have a recipie?

1 shred the turkey

  1. cut leeks finely into rings and saute in oil for at least 5 mins.
  2. while leeks are cooking make a white sauce as you would for making home made macaroni and cheese.
(or buy one in a jar - lasagne white sauce will do. another cheat's way with loads of calories is to use single cream and a tablespoon or 2 of plain flour as the 'white sauce')
  1. combine leeks, turkey and white sauce. If white sauce.

you can either eat this with bread - if you make too much for your pie crust or put in a pie crust and bake as you would any other pie.

If I have the inclination, I will blind bake pie crust, blah, blah but normally I just put it in a pie dish and put a 'crust' on top.
