ElectraInExcelsis · 16/12/2008 16:02

Thanks thenewme - dd really wanted that Rose Petal cottage stuff but it looks hard to put away so I'm not sure. I've already bought some stuff but they both have their birthdays around now too so it's a nightmare!

DDs are 3 and 6.

We are cheating and given them an extension to their climbing frame as a joint present. Don't suppose they'll actually use it much till the summer, but at least it will be there as soon as the weather brightens up.

DD1 (6) wants a flower press, which she's getting from relatives. That's the only thing she's actually asked for. She's also getting a box of sewing stuff from my mum. Her grandmother bought her a subsription to RSPB's Wildlife Explorers last year, which is being renewed.

Don't know what other people are getting DD2, which makes a change - there are usually no surprises at all for me because everyone has interrogated me for ideas!

Hulababy · 16/12/2008 16:26

Also had a pearl, she got on holiday set into a white gold necklace.

ElectraInExcelsis · 16/12/2008 20:56

Thanks for your replies - some really good ideas here.

My older girl really likes dolls and always has whereas the younger one likes animal stuff and also goes for 'boys' toys as well.

I was going to buy moon sand but decided against after people on here described it as 'stuff that comes out of a vacuum cleaner' lol
