Ok sorry if this has been done a hundred times before, or maybe its such an obvious question no one has ever asked!!

Have just booked a delivery slot with Tesco for Sat 20th (nearest to christmas i could get) have never done this before have only ever done a shop and booked the slot straight away. How do i keep this slot?? do i just start my order then add to it nearer the time?? Anyone know how to get a slot any closer to christmas Asda tesco etc??

I know i should have thought about it earlier but have had 3 kids with this horrible sickness bug to contend with and Christmas has been on a back burner!!

Thanks

yes, just do an order and checkout, or you will not keep the slot. You can amend order at any time up to a few hours before delivery (tesco) 5pm day before (asda)

Add 5 bottles of expensive vodka, or whatever you need to get to the correct level to save the order slot (I find alcohol usually works best as it's the most expensive!). Then make a careful note of the cut-off time for amending your order (or they really will BRING the 5 bottles of vodka!) and then go back and edit the order once you've got time.
