you won't be going with festive hula hoops (star shapes ) & chocolate fingers like ds then....?! (chosen by me).

Do you like cooking? If so, make whatever DS1 likes best. If not, pop to Tescos and get some kettle chips.

They make star shaped hula hoops?

Look, I'm trying to impress the teacher here....I can cook, if I'm so inclined, altough individual chocolate logs might be fiddley......

You won't impress the teacher they will just think you are tring to creep. Yes I am a teacher!

bigTillyMint · 15/12/2008 21:58

Why would you want to impress the teacher?

He/she probably will say "put your food over there" as they come in in the morning, and by the time the party starts, will not have a clue who brought what!

hoxtonchick · 15/12/2008 22:05

i was irrationally excited about them....

LynetteScavo · 15/12/2008 22:09

I really like the sound of star shaped hula hoops!

I guess it will be crisps again this year.

Buy a couple of packets of those cake-mix festive cup-cake kits and get DS to make them himself. Teacher will surely be impressed that he's made the effort!

hoxtonchick · 15/12/2008 22:23

2 for 1 in tesco.

I couldn't find and star shaped hula hoops

So I bought some millionairs shortbread chunks in Sainsburys, and will re-package to make them look home made.
