What do I get my Dad for Christmas?

He loves walks but he's got most of the kit.

He's learning Italian.

He likes the theatre.

But I don't know beyond a book on George Bush that he asked for.

Does anyone have any inspiration?

the ray mears web site has some good stuff, i quite liked the idea of a fire stick, for emergencies of course.

new outdoor clothing, thick socks, opera cd, book on italian culture, italian wine?
