Is it worth trying to find said item in one of their branches?

I have to redirect the GP's away from ghastly v-tech baby laptop things and thought they could get remote control cars for the DS's (3&4). ELC have a dead good pair of Morphibians, but the Shark is out of stock. I am travelling so much for work this week I will be passing near about 7 ELC branches - might they be able to advise me of store stock? Or is it a no-hoper and I should just get 2 identical "gators"?

Worth e-mailing ELC- I've found in the past things that are out of stock have come back into stock sooner than I would have expected. HTH

Ok have now looked into previous threads on the perils of ELC, will phone them and the local branches too!

I would go into the shops. Very often the shops have loads of stock and the website is dry.

My friend's ds had a soft toy from ELC which he treasured and she asked in our local branch for one (as a spare!) and the staff were really good at ringing round other branches and checking stock and reserving etc...worth a try, good luck!
