What to buy for my 9yr old brother who sits in front of a games console all day!?

Really dont know what to get him. He i getting an xbox and I was going to get him a steering wheel but it's out of stock in most places. I would really like to get him something that isnt game related but dont know what and am worried he wont play with it. I thought of Uno but i know he wont play it.

A CD?
Clothes?

Something like a kite or one of those aeroplanes that you launch by winding it up, that kind of thing, or one of those rockets that you launch by stamping on a footpad.

My nephew used to spend most of his time on the Playstation till my sister bought him Lego.

Some good ideas but he has scooter, bike etc, I also think he has loads of lego but it probably just sits in the cupboard. I did think about a science thing so may look into that one!
