because he knew what it was...and I only bought it today.

Actually ot is ours - a treat we have bought between us.....

it is an Xbox....and he says "well we won't be here after Christmas to play it" (we will be visiting relatives for 2-3 days )

Because he knew I had gone to get it....and TBH I thought it would last until Christmas

He is, however, struggling with the instructions ATM (after struggling with teh cabling for the last 15mins)

I don't see how you could possibly need instructions for an xbox...

Actually more to teh point I acn't believe he is reading them rather than diving straight in...he is normally a dive straight in and then ask me to read the instructions 30minutes later when he gets stuck...

I will be shocked if he switches it on in preference to Sports personality though...
