On Christmas morning we always have a full cooked breakfast, Bacon, fried egg, sausage, sliced sausage, black pudding and tattie scones. This keeps us full up until dinner which we usually have around 4/5pm. We only ever have a full cooked breakfast on Christmas day and New Years day, rest of the year we're boringly healthy.

PurpleOne · 15/12/2008 22:52

Croissants all round. Bucks fizz to greet the day and to watch DD's opening pressies.
If I'm feeling particularly tired at ungodly hour of the morning, I will brew fresh 'proper' coffee in the percolator. Dinner is at 3pm sharp.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 15/12/2008 22:52

MashedBanana - pork pies for breakfast?

I quite like the sound of that

Me - 2 paracetomol for brekkie
Actually, probably crumpets or potato cakes unless DH does sausage butties for us all.
First drinky-poo for me will be with dinner about 3pm or nothing will get cooked!

kyrasmummy · 16/12/2008 14:35

Cup of tea and chocolate :O

PestoHoHoHoMonster · 16/12/2008 14:37

Probably those little cinammon things you get from Ikea, warmed up in the oven. My mum will, however, insist on eating a bowl of her home-mixed rabbit food muesli which she always brings with her when she comes to stay.

coffee croissant with bacon/jam whilst the we are opening stockings.

probably first alcoholic drink will be when we get back from a walk mid morning so probably about 11.30

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/12/2008 14:55

I'm going away to Wales with friends so it will be different to usual. We are doing a breakfast buffet, which will be quite heavy as we plan to do dinner for 5pm.

For stockings, presents etc

Platters of pastries and fruit, fresh oj and coffee.

Then around 11am
Smoked salmon
Cream cheese
Kedgeree
Scrambled eggs
Bacon
Sticky honey sausages
Fried mushrooms and basil roasted tomatoes
Refried Beans
Crostini, sourdough and bagels

French toast with honey and bananas
Fruit Salad
Muesli fridge cake with fresh yoghurt
Berry Smoothies
And Champagne to follow

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/12/2008 14:55

Oh I'm hungry now.

vesela · 16/12/2008 15:21

French toast and maple syrup, and bacon. I just decided that now .

We have dinner at about 5pm, too.
