Where can I find some nice baubles!?

I'm looking for (light) green/aqua, blue, white and silver tones. I want intricate baubles if that makes sense not plain round ones. I got 3 brilliant white sort of wire ones from The Pier last year but not having much luck this year.

I try to buy a few nice bits each year so by the time I own my own home I'll have a really nice tree!

Any ideas?

some on johnlewis.com

navyeyelasH · 13/12/2008 18:08

Thanks Umlellala I've looked on there and don't really like any they are all boring!

I've looked on The Pier, Habitat, John Lewis, Matalan, B&Q, M&S, The White Company, Lakeland (?!?!) and am now stuck.

I don't care if they cost an arm and a aleg so long as they are nice!

Not the colours you want, but poundstretcher have rearly lovely glittery pear and apple ones at 49p each.

Harrods.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 13/12/2008 19:23

Agree - homebase decorations are lovely and very reasonably priced. B&Q have some nice glass baubles with intricate designs but I did have to rummage around all the tat in the store before I found them hidden away

TheVirginGoober · 13/12/2008 19:25

Wyvale have all the sizes, colours, shapes.

nancy75 · 13/12/2008 19:28

try liberty, dont know how much they sell online but their xmas section is amazing

Umlellala · 13/12/2008 19:30

these? from bombay duck

Myrrhcy · 13/12/2008 19:38

I haven't been to Liberty's for years but agree it's fab

deste · 14/12/2008 20:48

I stood gawping at a woman in Liberty with a huge basket of baubles priced at approx £25.00 upwards. She must have had about thirty in the basket.

navyeyelasH · 14/12/2008 21:24

was that today?

Thanks for the lovely recommendations ladies, I even actually ventured into John Lewis today for some and there were some that took my fancy but they were all broken!

I got those ones from Bombay duck and will be visiting homebase tomorrow.

Now I just need some over sized baubles, but that can wait till Jan!

I'm probably far too late now but just wanted to let you know I saw some decent blue/white/silver ones in Sainsbury's today! (better than Homebase tbh)

madamekoto · 19/12/2008 20:27

I always look on ebay and type in clear glass or diamante. I have got some amazing ones over the years. My tree is all clear glass and pale green and it sparkles and looks like it is DRIPPING with ice!!!!!!!!

Sorry, got a tiny bit carried away there!
