Honestly why send a card if all it says is
" from Henrietta, Henry and baby Enrique"

I read once that Nigella does the same.

Well at least they thought of you......
I presume your gripe is becuase you didn't get a hugely personalised message?

DoubleBluff · 11/12/2008 14:10

I open, read and put in the recycling bin. ( apart from family cards) hate having cards around they are so messy

ComeAndSeeMyBaubles · 11/12/2008 14:11

Yes all they do is fall down.

You sound like a misery guts.

Too many cards is a bit of pain. I have now happened on a new idea though - ds has his on a card holder in his bedroom. So taht cuts down all the tiny ones. The others go on one of those metal holders that attach to the door with the pictures I really like most visible. They don't fall down then.

My elderly neighbours get loads of cards - all strung up on the wall. Looks great and its is nice to think they are so well thought of after nearly 180 years on the planet between them.

sagacious · 11/12/2008 14:19

Ours are blu tacked in a tasteful collage on the kitchen cupboards.. no falling down

ComeAndSeeMyBaubles · 11/12/2008 14:21

Madame Ant I am a misery guts.

thenewme · 11/12/2008 14:29

ComeAndSeeMyBaubles · 11/12/2008 14:30

BellaKissedSanta · 11/12/2008 14:31

Oooh - can I not send cards then?

Someone please say yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ComeAndSeeMyBaubles · 11/12/2008 14:33

Oh yes, you realise one year you are sending them to Great Auntie Gwen on behalf of your h and you think "he can fucking do them" and so he doesn't.
For two years no one notices.
