Dh (then dp) did bring a playstation home from Kuwait years ago for dd (don't think it counts as he was over there anyway!)

Erm, I went to two different shops once.

Logging onto Amazon first thing every morning till they had Wii's in stock, and getting the order in just before the batch had sold out. Fairly non-ridiculous really...
