you still have to pay postage though don't you?

But I suppose if you where going to buy something anyway, it's a good deal.

Anyone know what their calendars are like?

VinegarSantaGropedMyTits · 09/12/2008 09:45

You might get more replies if you stick this in moneysaving and promotions thread, and give a link please

MerlinsBeard · 09/12/2008 09:48

its not very hard to google though is it VT

KbearingGiftsWeTraverseAfar · 09/12/2008 13:39

I didn't need replies, I was passing on a Christmas offer. You lot want it handed to you on a plate !

£3.78 postage. I've ordered calendars I don't want until New Year anyway.

My total was £12 something. If you order online you always pay postage.

I did this a few weeks ago got a photo claender for MIL , a tshirt with BIL photo on a free fridge magnet (huge) and a stamper thing with address on. very good quality!

KbearingGiftsWeTraverseAfar · 09/12/2008 13:55

Ah, good news Bonkerz - thanks for that, was hoping they would be good.

Kbearing - do you have a link? Every time I go on to their website it just tells me cards and calendars are 50% off not free.

pigleypudding · 09/12/2008 16:04

I ordered mine a few weeks ago when the calendars were 99p each - still a bargin.

Both sets of grandparents and greatnanny have a photo calendar of DD (4mths)

They aren't the best best quality but good enough. cant really argue for that price anyway

katiechops · 09/12/2008 16:08

Be careful not to agree to sign up to their VP Rewards or Premier Club. I mistakenly did this when I ordered my wedding invites from vistaprint last summer and didn't notice that they'd been taking £9.95 a month from my credit card until 5 months later. The woman in the disputes department at Barclaycard said that they'd had lots of complaints about this as it's not clear that your card will be debited each month and just looks like you're agreeing to be sent special promotions.

pigleypudding · 09/12/2008 16:14

oh thanks for that Katiechops!- Ill keep an eye on my bank account!

I've been dithering about ordering from them for days as they're the only photo company I can find where I can load my photos onto a calendar and make them look half decent. DP is very "crop-happy" and tends to edit bits off the photos which, I've discovered, really messes up the pixels and makes them look grainy when you try to put them on calendars and stuff. Don't suppose anyone else has had this problem and found a solution (an affordable one)? I feel a bit nervous about vistaprint now.

KbearingGiftsWeTraverseAfar · 09/12/2008 18:19

bitofasnowqueen · 10/12/2008 13:42

Sweetapril - I'm quite crop happy with pictures too and always have good quality calendars and photobooks from photobox. Photobox will tell you if a photo isn't good enough quality. Even cropped and zoomed pics taken on my mobile came out ok. If you register with them you'll get regular emails with offers etc.

Re: Vistaprint - I ordered a 99p calendar last week with free photo upload. By the time I upgraded to better quality card and paid postage it was about £9.

Chilimama · 10/12/2008 14:14

Thanks for posting this was going to order with snapfish but this is a much better deal
