Idea for a present for 4.5 yo boy - under 10 pounds please!

Have to buy a present for my friend's son - they're visiting this weekend and I haven't gone shopping yet (oops).

Have bought some Charlie and Lola bits for his little sister, but have no idea what boys of that age like!

I got my nephew a shark & diver set from the ELC for £10 for his birthday last week and he LOVED it, played with it for hours when I was there.

ELC are also good for Dinosaurs, you can get a jumbo sized one for £6.

Megaskechers are fab!

My first thought would be to go round the pound shop, and get him felt-tips, paper and a pile of toy cars.

A little lego set - doesn't matter which one or a playmobil car. They only look little but the boy will love them. He may be an excelption but my 4.5 DS has no interest in colouring.

I know he likes dinosaurs so that would certainly work. Sounds like a trip to ELC is in order!
