she has spent the last hour and a half playing in a cardboard box filled with those polystyrene bits, its been a bubbley bath, the sea, rain, snow she's put things in to do lucky dip and right now is a fluffy bed!

She's having so much fun!

you could fill a cardboard box with helium filled balloons and warp it for her to open on xmas morning, guaranteed fun.

my DS also 3.5 spent the afternoon playing with my hoover, it was a car, a horse, a crocodile, a wheelchair, a buggy, an aeroplane and thankfully also a hoover for part of the time

yep, this is what they do! no idea why any of us waste money on actual toys!

My dd had a metal mixing bowl and some pebbles she had swiped from my vase and was mixing them round all day.

Her real toys sat in a corner looking sad .

Cardboard boxes are the best though ,they keep them going for hours .

A cardbox is great fun! 6yo DD spent ages yesterday playing with a plastic storage box Glad I have spent a small fortune on all those toys, lol!

now her sister is home too they are sadly spreading the bits round the room!! Can see this not being a mummy friendly box of polystyrene.
