Just about to do a Lidl shop - do they have any good Christmassy foods in that you would recommend?

gluhwein (I think it is called) - mulled wine in a bottle basically but very nice.

And yes their panetone is supposed ot be good as well.

they do lovely honey roasted peanuts.
the little individual stollen bars are yummy, as are the choccies........ in fact, most of the speciality stuff is lovely!

the stollen won the Good Housekeepings best Stollen this year - think its £2.79

ohhhh. just remembered that lidl mince pies won the phillip and fern test too...

they were about £1.50 for 12 i think....
