and in a slight stew about it all

we DO have hot water , but we now have no bathroom as DH took everything back out to paint the ceiling (he forgot last week and I said he was not allowed to splash anything..........so he took it out again), but then, he has laid the tile floor so should I be irritated???

problem is, BIL and SIL were supposed to be providing the puds, and the PIL's are providing the turkey and some drink.....we are doing the veg and accompaniments (sp?) and cooking it all (obviously)....we have 15...........BUT, I have just had a text from SIL asking us to do the puds as they don;t know what to get (), and we are utterly broke until payday (thursday) from doing party and spending out on the plumber/sparky/new dishwasher/new TV (TBF the TV and dishwasher were from an inheritance thro MIL, so not our money), plus all the weeks shopping already and filling the cars up with petrol.

I can;t DO the puddings......................argh!!!!

I am annoyed anyway as we were not supposed to be hosting the xmas, BIL and SIL were until this week, and rearranged (without telling me until telling the PIL's), and it was not supposed to clash with DD3's birthday either, so all this is irritating anyway........and now puds!!!!!

I care Psycho! Um, tell em, they HAVE to bring the puddings! If you really have to suggest they nip into Tesco on the way and pick some up and give them ideas, but don't let them get away with it. If they already agreed to it, then they need to stick to it. Tis a poor excuse anyway.

I am with Squirdle on this one. Why cannot they call into Tesco/M&S on their way to you and buy something?

Squirdle · 06/12/2008 22:27

Ah bless ya Thanks for the hugs, much needed today. Can't believed N is 10 tomorrow!!!

Missed you too and yes you will be having to come and drive distances to see me. Has been a bit manic here but all seems to be calming again now.

Anyhoo, back to yer in laws. Tell them you don't have any money for puddings. None at all.

Oh and try to relax a little, I know what you are like with visitors, rushing around like a mad woman

Happy happy birthday to N x x x x

psychohohohoho · 06/12/2008 22:28

I am annoyed, very annoyed.

in fact, I might say that we can't as we have done the shopping now and as it is DD3's brithday we are not shopping tomorrow, we are celebrating in the morning, cooking in the afternoon until the arrive, and not attempting tesco hell......they can as agree'd.
