little christmas gift boxes and thought about putting them at place settings instead of crackers. What would you put in them though?

Don't want it to cost a fortune. Does anyone know if you can buy christmas hats anywhere (will have a look at ebay after posting) so just looking for a little extra for each box.

I do my own crackers. Last year I put in those named shopping trolley key ring tokens for the ladies and pewter wine stoppers for the men. This year I have done pens for the men and lovely decorated book marks for the ladies.

What about getting something more personal to each person. Ie if nans into sewing then a nice little thimble, or if DS is into cars then a little toy car- Easily got from Poundland
