Bear factory and build a bearville help please ???

My son has just joined the bearville website and has now asked for a bear for xmas.
How do you register your bear on the site ?
If i got him a second hand one off ebay would he still be able to register that ?

There's a reference code on the 'birth certificate' that you need to input. If you got a second hand bear, you may not get the certificate.

Where would i get the code from if i made him a certificate ?

So a second hand bear no good then for the bearville site!

I didn't have one as the computer was down when I bought my dd2's bear, I queried it about six months later and they gave me a leaflet with a code on - problem sorted

The code is on the certificate but you will have to buy one to get the certificate.

oh well might as well save my money then no point getting one on ebay thanks all

The bears are from £8 anyway so you probably wouldnt save much buying one on ebay when u take into account the postage. Plus at the shop you get the box and cetificate.
