Make-up for a 14yr old?

I'm looking for a present for my friend's daughter (14yrs). My friend has said she'd love anything to do with make so I'm looking for a lip-gloss set or something similar. Any suggestions?

What's your budget?

Boots have some lovely sets, all 3 for 2.
Superdrug too.

Boots do cute little sets, in a purse, also Superdrug do good stuff for young ladies.

Have a look in Boots. There are several ranges for teens - Barry M, Boots 17, Collection 2000 etc and very often at this time of year they have good free gifts if you buy something from the range - I got a really good Rimmel one last year for DD.
I recommend Barry M Dazzle Dust Eyeshadow, or sparkly eyeliner - it seems to be all about the eyes with teens at the mom.ent - round here anyway.

Budget is only about £5 - £8. I'll go and have a look on the Boots site. Thanks.

Good lukc with the Boots site - it's hideous IMO.

The Boots website is horrible - but No 17 have a nice freebie at the moment if you spend £5 (I think). They have some lovely, Mac-esque bright eyeshadows; we've bought some for dd1.

Barry M is worth a look instore too.

collection 2000 at boots ( cheaper at superdrug seems very popular with my daughter and her friends - all nearly 13!

BHS have some lovely lig gloss, nail varnish etc and they have 20% off at the momment.

Also superdrug have some nice sets.

I hate boots website but boots have some lovely things.

Oh i got a huge set in woolworths today for £5 in the half price sale.
