When dd was little a relative bought her some toys from Lamazefor Christmas which seemed to go down well.

Dd was a bit older at 8/9 months though

My ds was 4 months last christmas. I love v-tech stuff, find them to be really good. We bought a singing cow thing, when you press buttons it says 1, 2, 3, and covers colours and things too.
$ months is still young to 'play' but I'd def get into woolies or somewhere and look at the v-tech.

Forgot to say the mirror was a huge hit, but dd also liked the clutch cube and the house toy

thank you I'd seen the lamaze things - they look so cute! and will have a look for Vtech - brilliant.

i got this for my niece last year who was 3 months which went down well - as just about starting to spend time on their tummies.

what about foot finders/wrist rattles?
maracas?
rainmaker? (thing with beads in which makes a noise as they tumble down)

some other nice ideas here
