Am so excited. DD's christmas present just arrived

Mum has got DD1 two tickets (she's taking me, obviously) to see the Nutcracker in london on boxing day. Just got them in the post, now the hard part is to stay silent until christmas, going to be soooo hard.
DH & DD2 have two tickets to go and see cinderella, not so exciting.
She is going to be over the moon, just can't wait to see her face when she opens them.

I swear I get more excited over ds presents than he does.

It's so exciting when you know they'll love it and you can't wait to see the joy

I am a sad loon when it comes to christmas though.

Absolutely gorgeous electra. DD did the sugar plum fairy dance at her last dance show, finally at 7 yo she's starting to look like a dancer. She did her grade 1 exam on Saturday, teacher thinks she might get honours, she's really into her ballet. Teacher has even suggested she apply to Royal ballet to become an associate member, but think she's a little too young for the extra classes. am so proud of her, especially since I can't dance for toffe apples
Just can't wait.

Bless her - yes I remember people auditioning to be JAs at 7 - I think it's quite good, they go every Saturday or something. Good luck to her for the exam...
